Max canvas size for live brushes

I'm trying to create a 16x20" 300ppi artwork with the watercolor brush, but when I click on the live brush it tells me the max canvas size is 4096 pixels. Curious is this is the same for everyone and if there's any kind of work around? This is killing my work right now. I'm on a Windows surface book if that makes a difference.

It's the same for everyone. There are definitely canvas size restrictions within Fresco.
