adobe bloatware running in the background

New Here ,
May 01, 2019 May 01, 2019

I am not running any adobe products atm.

How can I stop/prevent 13-15 adobe bloatware items from running in the background. They are large, buggy, intrude into my privacy, and prevent my PC from running properly.

Your help is much appreciated.

Windows 10, cc

you'd have to disable all syncing of files/fonts

then uninstall all your adobe apps

then uninstall the cc desktop app

then clean

then reinstall the programs you want using direct download.

because that's likely to cause more problems than it solves, it's not recommended you do that.  in addition, not all programs are available for direct download and the ones that are available may not be available in the future.

It would be very nice if Adobe would take the time to recognize the things people complain about most frequently—with the excessive number of Creative Cloud process that run at all times and are obtusely difficult to prevent/stop being a very hot topic—and address them directly, rather than requiring convoluted work-arounds that are "likely to cause more problems" than they solve.

No offense to you, of course, kglad, as I'm confident you have nothing to do with these kinds of decisions. That's just my feedback as a long time user of Creative Cloud who's only still here because there are no other realistically viable alternatives in my workplace (yet).

This public user-forum doesn't attract product engineers.  Why don't you submit a  request to the folks who can actually do something about it?
