Creative Cloud - "Unable to load Sync Location" And unable to access cloud files and local files are gone

I keep getting messages that creative cloud is unable to sync files with my local folder.  The only thing that has changed since it was working yesterday is the Creative Cloud update that installed today.  It keeps creating new 'Creative Cloud Files (unknown)' folders in the folder that it is supposed to be syncing files with.  I cannot get to my projects since it is currently unable to load the Sync Location.  I need this fixed ASAP so I can get to work on my project.

The Creative Cloud app looks helpful with the 'Open Folder' or 'View on Web' buttons - but they do nothing when I click them.  In preferences, I am told it's unable to load sync location and the 'Contact Customer Support' does nothing when I click it.

What gives?  I need to get to work

Contacted customer support and it's working again.

The Fix:  Deleted the Coresync folder and all Adobe Processes in task manager and restarted Creative Cloud.

Mike,

Could you send us your log files so that we can investigate further?

Please zip up the entire 'CoreSync' folder at the location below and send it to me at syncforum-communication@adobe.com.

Mac:

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync

Windows:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CoreSync

'Library' on Mac and 'AppData' on Windows are both hidden folders. Please read these pages for help on showing these folders:

https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html (Mac)
