Hi all,

I've been using the adobe suite for years and I've yet to come across this problem.

Just purchased a new laptop, which has more capacity to run the software than any hardware I've previously used, yet a lot of the apps in the creative suite seem to be suffering the same problem and will open and run perfectly, except for the workspaces. In after effects the composition will not load, but remain a blank screen, as it is the same in lightroom when developing photos. So far, I've also had the same problem with illustrator.

I've exhausted solutions, any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

LATEST

Have you tried resetting the workspaces? (Window > Workspace > Reset ... )

Are the graphics card drivers on your laptop the latest version? E.g. if you are on a Windows laptop, maybe you need to update the Nvidia drivers? (you can download these from Download Drivers | NVIDIA ).

You can find out what Graphics Card model etc. you have using this link:

Identifying the Graphics Card Model and Device ID in a PC | NVIDIA

If updating the drivers doesn't work, please see if you can provide a bit more information:

  1. What operating system and version are you running (e.g. Windows 10, Mac OS High Sierra etc.)
  2. Which version of Creative Suite are you running (You posted in Creative Cloud forums, but mention Creative Suite).
  3. Provide screenshots (if you are able to) of what it is you are seeing across After Effects, Illustrator etc.
