restore deleted files from creative cloud to desktop

When I was importing files from my SD card to Lightroom, it was set to "add" instead of "copy," and I deleted the source files.  It did, though, sync the files to Creative Cloud during the import process.  I can see the pictures on the CC web and on the mobile Lightroom app, but I cannot see them in my desktop LR.  Is it possible to restore the files "down" to my desktop from the Creative Cloud sync'd copies?

Hi Matthew,

apologies if this has already been answered.

There is a bunch of resources on how Creative Cloud works here: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud.html

Essentially when you install the Creative Cloud Desktop App http://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud it will create a Creative Cloud Files folder, can navigate to it through terminal or the command prompt by issuing the following commands (or by using finder/explorer):

Mac:

$ ~/Creative\ Cloud\ Files

$ open .

Windows:

> "%HOMEPATH%\Creative Cloud Files"

> explorer .

Hopefully you will find your files in here.

Warmest wishes,

Ashley
