upgrade from suite to single item

The upgrade path page says to contact Adobe to be able to upgrade just Photoshop and not the whole suite. is it possible?

What exactly are you trying to upgrade from and to?

Simply put, no, there is no upgrade path from suite to standalone.

Trying to go from CS3 suite to a new retail upgrade of PS to CS5
