Gradients are saving wrong, reverting, being weird.

In Illustrator beta v. 2026 I am noticing that my gradients in nested groups are saving wildly wrong and or reverting to a previous iteration after save-close-open again. The preview, jpeg and illustrator file of the same file are wildly wrong. Please see screenshots and screenshot names for visual.

Hello @lori_04 thank you for reporting this. Can you please let me know your version of Beta? v2026 is not what we are looking for. You can check the version number in CC library by navigating to Beta apps and hovering over the heading of the Ilustrator (Beta) card as shown in the screenshot below.

You can also check for the version from inside the app, by going to the Help menu and clicking on About Illustrator, screenshot attached below.

Also, it would be great if you can share a detailed description of your issue with a small video of what's happening and what's expected.
