3d and materials new thing illustrator

I am hating this new feature! It takes a whole bunch of time just to copy paste something, even just to rotate it normally! I am looking for to make the rotation and expand and I usually was able to do!! but this is awful! does anyone knows how to turn this off???

Just use the 3D-effects in the "Classic" submenu

Use the old effects under Effect > 3D & Materials > 3D (Classic)

In the 3d & materials panel there is a button in the top right that looks like a square being built. Make sure it is not in a "pressed" state. That's the auto rendering feature. Basically, you leave that off until you're done with the graphic and click it once to render the materials and lighting. It's much faster that way.
