How do I get rid of the minute dots from the pattern in this AI file?

In this file I have marked the dots that I am talking about,
They are part of a pattern and I would like to clean it up a bit,

Drag the pattern out of the swatches panel to edit it. Locate the dots and delete them. Drag it back over the original swatch while holding alt.

Thanks for reaching out. Please follow these steps to edit an existing pattern:

• Double-click the pattern in the pattern swatch, or select an object containing the pattern and choose Object > Pattern > Edit Pattern.

If it is a vector pattern; double click the pattern in the swatches panel to open the pattern maker and delete the item.

are you sure the file object you are working on is VECTOR ? 

if you zoom in up to 5000 can is it still sharp or pixelated ?
