Added 1k+ items to library; need to mass delete.

Short version of a long story is that I added like 3,000 color swatches to my library, and I need to know how to mass delete items from said library. I contacted support, and they couldn't even grasp what I was asking about, so obviously they were zero assistance. Is there a way to select a group of items and delete them all at once? So far, I've only been able to select them one at a time and individually delete each one, which will take an actual eternity to remove all 3k. I meant to add them to the color swatch library, instead, I added them to the main library where all of my project's parts and pieces are stored. Help!

You are talking about a CC Library?

In the Creative Cloud app you can go to Files > Your libraries

Select the library and click, Shift click to select a continuous range or use the Cmd or Ctrl key to add subtract swatches.

Use the Delete icon on the right to delete them.

Yes. I have tried using shift click about 400 times, and it does nothing. I will go test the other two suggestions and see if I have any better luck.

Oh, for the love of everything holy, that time it worked! Shift, that is. Only thing that changed is that I uninstalled/reinstalled AI, but I wouldn't think that would affect my CC library. Either way, it's fixed. Thank you!
