Adding 3d Stroke effect to text

Hi Adobe Support Community!

Im having a bit of a blonde moment trying to achieve this effect. Its been racking my brain for a few days now and i feel like im being fairly stupid but i was wondering if any one could help me by explaining or pointing me in the direction of a tutorial, that shows how i would achieve the effect on the Alex John text on the image below.
