Ai 2021 - files won't open

Ai files created in 2021 won't open in 2019 or 2021 - see below error message that I receive. Can you please advise?

• The exact version of macOS & Illustrator
• Does this happen while opening large-size files with a lot of embedded images or all?
• Would it be possible for you to share the download link of the files with us here or via DM? We'll check at our end.
• Where are these files saved (Network Drive/ System HDD/ Shared Folder on System/ External HDD)?
