Hello everyone 👋

(sorry for my bad English, it's not my first language)

I was using my Ai 2023 as usual when suddenly I got the error message saying that Ai can't save my illustrations because I don't have enough access privileges ID: -5000 when I tried to save my file to my macbook. I don't know what triggered it because it never happened before and i was so confused...

I've been following the tutorial that I could find here, saying that we should change the system preferences and make Ai have full disk access i already restarted my laptop too but it didn't seem to work... and I'm getting desperate because I need to submit my assignments 😭 anyone knows how to resolve this?

I really appreciate it, thank you so much!

Have you tried this fix, from Apple? Assuming you're on a Mac.

https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/change-permissions-for-files-folders-or-disks-mchlp1203/mac

And, you went into system settings > privacy > full disk access, clicked on the plus sign at the bottom, and added Illustrator? That requires an admin password, FYI.

If you've done both those things, or you're on a PC, I don't have anything to add. You might consider posting in the Apple Support forums. Sounds like an OS thing. Good luck!
