Hi, 

I have a AI vector template and would love to change the bottom of it to say "Sam Reichman at Douglas Elliman Real Estate" 

Rookie and would appreciate any help 🙂 thank you!

You will most probably have to delete those objects and create a new text. Most of the time those "texts" are not editable.

If the template is editable, take the type tool and retype pver the current text. But if this isn't editable, it may be better to edit in Photoship - paint over the words you don't want to show. Then either use Photoshop's type tools or bring the image back into Illustrator and use the type tools there.
