Align doesn't work

Hi there,

I am trying to align couple of objects but it behaves very strangely when I want them allign next each other. I have simple graphics inside of clipping masks. I have created a video what is going on.

Did you already try and reboot the computer?

Copied all the artwork into a new file?

Reset the preferences (which will erase all your settings)

Is it just this file? Or all files? Even a completely new one?

Thank you. 

Yes, restarting PC or Ill can help sometimes but this is ridiculus. Can't restart PC or erasing preferences-settings everytime when there is some glitch in one of the Adobe app or reseting. I am not sure that Adobe is realising that as artists we have tons of work to do, time managed jobs and having this flustrations is super time consuming.

This forum is 95% volunteers. We are not Adobe. 

I need to reset preferences (or rather I don't need to, but I'm just doing it) when I update the app. That's that. I do not constantly reset my preferences. They don't go corrupt in the first place.

But I reboot my computer each morning, because these things are just not built for 24/7. Desktop PCs are not servers.

You might want to investigate what corrupts your preferences. Because as you already wrote: this is not normal.
