Hi,

I've come accross a strange issue - when aligning an object to a text box with Hebrew font, the alignment is... well... not aligned. For example, align center puts the object slightly to the left of the center.

When aligning the object to a text box with lating font it works OK.

Here is a screen capture I did to show it:

Thank you for your help

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing version of the OS & Illustrator? Also, what happens when you go for CPU Preview?

I'd also recommend you to update your app to the latest version & let us know if it helps.

Regards,

Ashutosh

Hi Ashutosh

Thank you for your reply.

I'm using Windows 10 and the latest illustrator version.

Tried with CPU view, but it's the same problem.

Ori,

As a possible temporary (non) solution until fixed or till the end of time, whichever occurs first, you can try this:

1) Tick Use Preview Bounds in the general preferences,

2) Apply the Effect>Path>Ouline Object,

3) Align,

4)Reverse 1) and 2).

Hey, Just saw your reply...Thanks!

It does the job, but still it's a pretty annoying workaround.

Hope Adobe will address to that issue as well.
