All dropdown menus are commpressed. Cant see full options. How to undo/expand?

Hello.

 

My menu drop-downs are all compressed, only showing 2/3's of the options. Relying on me to use shortcuts for so many commands. Many though, I don't know and its very frustrating. 

 

Did I collapse them somehow? How do I undo this, or expand drop-downs.

@jnet3939 my student had an issue with this except they had the menu showing above the menu, not below. I suggested for them to reset the Illsutrator Preferences (Command K on a MAC, Control K for a PC); remove the Application Cache (Mac HD - Library - Cache: As Apple says to me, it's okay to wipe it as it will be re-created; I once had 7 gigs of data, and once I purge that, wowza, it's like a brand new computer, fast and zippy!). I also told the student to restart the computer, and his drop-down menus were fine.
