Am I going crazy? Snap to points not working as it should be.

Before you reply anything know that I have checked snap to points and all settings are standart.

In words. Snap to point is not working as it should be. As shown in video snap to point and all options are checked and settings are standart. And even though snap to point works to some degree I can never tell if it actually snapped unless I zoom in because it is not displaying anchor points im snapping to. Snaps with out visualisation/animation. I have this problem very often and I dont find any solutions online.

My screen res is 3440x1440

If I use “View in cpu” “Outline” or “Pixel preview” it does not change anything

Anybody have any suggestions? Please help!

Are smart guides turned on?

Do you grab the object at an anchor point? And then hold down the Ctrl key while dragging the object?
