Hello @diegom91085902,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Are you using Sidecar to mirror your display from your Mac? If yes, kindly try restarting your devices and then relaunching Illustrator to see if it helps. If the problem persists, kindly share more details, such as the OS/Illustrator version, device model, and a screen recording of the problem (if possible) so we can better assist you.

Alternatively, try using Illustrator on the iPad (https://adobe.ly/3PQptvr) and sharing your observations.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Hello Anubhav,

I've already restarted everything and still no solution.

FYI, I'm just mirroring my main display to the iPad. I used to use my Apple Pencil from the iPad and it worked perfectly... but now it is not working any more.

OS Sonoma 14.4.1 (23E224)

Adobe Illustrator 28.4.1

Any ideas?

I've been using screen mirroring to iPad so I can use Apple Pencil in Illustrator for years with no issue. But now it's not working. Pencil works fine in Illustrator on iPad, but when mirroring my MacBook Pro to the iPad, it won't register any input from the Pencil. Restarted both devices, no improvement.

Hello @420meadows,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind trying to install an older version of Illustrator (https://adobe.ly/3Qco7vr) to check if it works?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

I am having the same issue with the apple pencil not working when sharing the screen to my iPad. Have you figured out how to fix it? 😞
