Apps very slow load

For some months we have been experiencing very slow load times for Illustrator and Photoshop. It takes upto 10 mins to launch each software which is very frustrating. Happens on both office macs. We update the software regularly. (I also run an older mac at home but this loads in seconds). Any suggestions woud be appreciated as we have tried all settings and nothing improves. We have fast internet so connection isn't an issue.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. Could you please confirm the exact OS and Illustrator version you're using? Additionally, please let us know whether the slowdown occurs during app launch or while the app is in use.

Currently running OS Sonoma 14.4.1.

Illustrator 29.8.2

Photoshop 25.12.0

The app is fine when running. It is very slow to launch (approx 10 mins). The same for Photoshop and Acrobat. (There is lots of space on the mac so storage/space isnt an issue)

Is the printer connected, turned on and accessible to Illustrator?

Are a lot of fonts installed?

- Yes the printer is turned on and connected.

- I have font management installed (normally launched after the Adobe applications are running)

- There are 440 Adobe fonts active at launch. It says "these adobe fonts cannot be activated or deactivated"

Can anybody from Adobe advise further on this?

This morning Ilustrator take 7 mins to launch, photoshop took 6 mins. These apps are getting slower across all our office macs.
