Hello,

Very new to all this and this is likely a super simple fix but I am stumped. Created a logo/image that had an arc to it......for some reason the area under and above the arc is showing as white. Cannot figure out how to remove it or make it transparent. Im thinking i screwed up the path/vector somehow. Did this a while ago so don't remember for sure.

Any help is appreciated thanks!

It is a closed path. You could select the Fill and change it to none.

If you just want a line, then set the fill of the object to "None" (the strike though swatch)

https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/painting-fills-strokes.html

But your object also got closed for some reason (the horizontal black line). you could select that part of the path by clicking on it with the white arrow (direct selection) and then delete it.

Thats whats weird about this, I cannot find any tool that will select the line "closing the arcs".........have tried the direct selection tool and the curvature tool.

Thank you both Ton and Monika, for the suggestion of trying the fill > none option, I swear I tried that a dozen times and it didn't work but now it did.

Appreciate your help.

They give the impression of a single wave, but maybe these are 2 objects? They have a round corners widget where they touch.
