Arrowheads file does not show latest arrow added for editing/Arrow not listed outside the file

So, I have an arrowheads file which I've updated with an Arrow # 40 which disappears once I close the file like if the file was never touched. It is listed on the arrows list to be used, but not beside the others for editing. Also, that arrow is not listed when a different file is opened, only with the original one.

I've added my arrow as a symbol but the symbols window is empty when I open another file. There should be an option to add arrows as easy as swatches, to select the file and done.

The arrowheads in the arrowheads file will only appear in the strokes panel of other files.

If they don't, then please tell us about your system and version and where you put that arrowheads file.
