Hi! I have a 32" 4k monitor with the resolution set to "display default" of 3840x2160, as to keep eveything nice and sharp. I previous had it scaled, but things were looking blurry time to time. BUT my question/problem is that when I set my artboard size (in Pixels) in Photoshop or XD they are the same size at 100% (which is great) but when I set that same artboard size in Illustrator the artboard is HUGE. And when I scale it to 50% (to try and keep things sharp) it's not quite correct either. The artboard needs to be scaled to AROUND 52% to nearly match PS and XD on screen - which obviously isn't a great working/view experience as the screen tries to rasterize odd scaling sizes. See attached for images of and XD screen overlaid on an AI screen to see the size difference between XD at 100% and AI at 50% (with a ruler overlaid on top of both for reference). Also the ruler is over both so you can see the actual pixels. The AI file set to 1366px is actually something like 2620px or so. I assume this is a pixel density setting I need to change in AI somewhere? I just desgin a lot of web stuff in Illustrator so need to make sure what I see at 100% is what the end user will see (cleanly). Any help and tips are MOST welcome.
Thanks!
