Artwork scales up / changes when embedding file

Hi All, I'm having an issue with Illustrator scaling up artwork when I embed a file to setup a knife?

I have tested in both version 29.8.3 and 30.0 on windows 11 and it does the same thing.

My colleuges computer next to me does not do it? Honor scale on import is ticked and makes no difference...

Any snapping functions turned on in the View menu?

Snap to point was on. Tested with it off, but it didn't help. Resetting prefs works.
