Hi All,

I am facing the problem of not being able to export Asian fonts when packaging an Illustrator document (example font name: 小塚ゴシック Pr6N R).

Is there any way to export this type of fonts.

Thanks

Hello @Prabu I,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. As of now, it is not possible to export Chinese, Korean, and Japanese fonts when packaging an Illustrator document. You may read more about Packaging Files in Illustrator here: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/package-files.html.

I hope it helps.

Thanks,

Anubhav

East Asian language fonts, unlike Latin language fonts, are not licensed for output attachment in most cases.
Licensing specifications vary from company to company, and as a result, they are not eligible for collection.
This is true not only for Adobe products, but also for most older applications.

Fonts provided by Adobe can be used by each user by activating them with Adobe Fonts.
Non-Adobe fonts require a purchase or subscription agreement from each company that provides them.
