Auto nesting objects

Is there some way (script / plugin?) to auto nest objects on page?

In other words, to place all objects as tight as possible to eachother.

I will give it a shot tomorrow. I am hesitant about the price still as I'm sure it will be a redundant feature when I upgrade my rip software. I am taking on increasingly more complex jobs though so this is becoming more of a necessity. Thanks for your attention to this matter!

I haven't tried it. Still dragging my feet with a demo to avoid a $1k nag screen

Try Arrange Master plugin. It supports a variety of object placement methods: grid, knolling, greedy algorithm, and even true-shape nesting. It's a paid plugin, but there's a demo available.

Demo works well enough to get me close to efficient nesting. Well enough that I was able to save some time on a simple test project, and it works well enough that I'm going to roll the dice on $39. Clean, straightforward experience. Nice work. (assuming you are THE Andrew lol). Thanks for this!
