Blob brush behind everything?

Hi there,

When I use the blob brush it appears behind whatever I am trying to draw over.  There's only one layer, so it isn't on a different layer.  Why is it appearing behind everything?  In the photo you can see a black line that I drew first.  Then a red line that I tried to draw on top of the black line, but as soon as I released the mouse when I finished drawing the red line it went behind the black line.  Please help!  Thank you!

I figured it out!  I just needed to hit shift D, I guess it was set as draw behind.
