It pretty much means what it says. You have to replace the linked image or just ignore it. Anything more than that basic assessment would require a better explanation and more info on the file in question, your system and so on.

What happens when you click on Ignore? You can replace or relink the file later by going to the Links panel.

If you are getting this error every time you open the file, then would you mind confirming the location of the Ai document & linked files currently stored (Network Drive/ System HDD/ Shared Folder on System/ External HDD)?
