Hi,

A friend sent me a file with patterns that are non-editable fills. These are not present among the samples/swatch actually.
is it possible to modify them like you do with patterns? nothing happens when dragging the fill into the swatch.

Example file attached.

Thank you!

You can either drag the fill from the toolbar to the swatches panel, or (with the fill activated) select New Swatch in the swatches panel. Then you can edit them normally.

Hi, thank you for the reply. You're correct, I usually dragged the object with the fill and not the actual fill. Since there are many patterns, do you have any idea how I can put them in the swatch at the same time?

Thank you so much.
