I'm having the same exact problem after an OS update, tho with Photoshop. Very oddly, the save button flashes *while* I'm resizing the window. I can then press the Save button on my touchbar, but only if i'm actively resizing. Once I did that ninja move, I am now able to save again without doing parkour. 

 

WTF lol.

We are sorry for the trouble. This issue has been fixed with the latest version of macOS 12.3.1, released by Apple last week. Please update macOS and let us know if the issue persists.
