Getting this error message in Illustrator now after CC updates and Mac OS Update.
Adobe AI Version. 26.2.1
Mac OS Monterey 12.3.1
Saving files to a 6TB Seagate External Drive. This has been working for a year with no issues.
Just doing a general "Save" after making some revisions to the file.
Go to your Mac System Preferences/Security and Privacy and grant Illustrator Full Disk Access.

I have tried this solution and many other suggestions with the read and write permissions and I am still getting this error code. Any other potential fixes?

Thanks for reaching out and trying the steps. Would you mind providing read & write permission to the folder where you are saving the file? The steps are on this YouTube video: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTHIAxnhLXM).
Also, if you are trying to save on an external drive or a network server/ shared folder or online drives (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive) directly, then I would suggest saving the file locally on a Documents or Desktop folder and then moving it manually there.
If this doesn't help, would you mind sharing a few details, as asked by Monika, such as OS & Mac specifications and the location where you are trying to save?

My PC looks entirely different than what is shown in the video. I dont see system preferences. It only has system settings and then I can go into privacy and security. But everything Ive tried so far has not helped. Checked off the read and write permissions, etc. What can I do?

Is your PC managed by IT department?
Then maybe you have to ask them to set it up for you.

FINALLY! PRAISE GOD!
I just got it fixed. Going back over the video.... finding the different settings.... I was able to do it.
My PC looks so different from the one in the video though and I think thats what made it complicated for me.
