cannot move newly created pattern to my swatch panel?

I have created a new pattern on my artboard, it was from a drawing I did. my first one worked perfectly but this one doesn't want to go into a swatch.

I have tried object/pattern/make but it is saying cannot create pattern as there is a pattern used to colour the image. I have combed through and ensured only "colour swatches" have been used. not sure what else to do. Very new to Illustrator.

Thanks in advance.

There are only 2 colors in it: white and green, right?

So one of those must be a pattern?

To find out which is a pattern you can use the view options in the swatches panel.

I'm demonstraing how to in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQWOGU5fiKg
