Mac OS X High Sierra (10.13.3) / Adobe Illustrator CC2018 (22.0.1)
Trying to add a color from an Adobe CC Library I created. Shared the library as read only for other members of company. None can place the colors in Illustrator (but can in Indesign & Photoshop). Thought it was a permissions issue. Then I (as the read/writer owner of the library) tried placing colors in Illustrator. No dice. Right click color in library, choose "Add to Swatches" - color is added as "Spot Color 1" or 2 or 3 (depending on how many colors I'm adding). Spot color is 100% magenta, not the correct color assigned in CC Library. But not all swatches - only certain PMS colors. Thoughts?
You may want to mention this problem here:
There are many remarks on the behaviour of (spot) swatches in CC Libraries.
What seems to work is to fill an object with a swatch color.
Drag the object to a CC Library and give it a recognizable name.
In another document, you can drag the object from the CC library and delete it from the artboard.
The color gets correctly added to the swatches panel.
