change color in adobe illustrator

have a logo that was a drawing that is black and white, currently a png file.  i would like to change the lines (in black) to yellow.  it's just an outline of an animal and wording in calligraply.  i also need to make the lines thicker.  any help to complete both of these?

Use the Image Trace panel to trace it. Turn on "Ignore white" when doing so.

The text I would identify the typeface and then create the text object

In order to make the line thicker: Expand the trace and then use offset path.
