Change "add new folder" setting

Hi all,

I'm looking for the option for turning off saving to a folder named after the scale of an asset. For example, if I'm exporting an asset @16x, illustrator creates a new folder called @16x and saves my image there, instead of the folder I navigated to. Same thing for PDF exports.

I remember there used to be a checkbox I could uncheck to fix this, but I can't seem to find it! I would suspect it should be in Settings>File Handling but I don't see anything that rings a bell.

Help is much appreciated!

Do you mean this checkbox in the Export for Screens window? Uncheck "Create sub-folders"
