Change shape (not a stroke) thickness

Hello, I downloaded those icons and would like to make the shape thicknesses the same.

I do not know how to reduce the thickness of the question mark for example. Does anyone know how to do this ? Many thanks, Marie

Object > Path > Offset Path. Enter a negative value.
