Charts in Illustrator 2022 on Mac

OK, so this is probably operator error, but I create charts for an annual report once a year. Using the chart tool in the toolbar. It's that time of year and I'm not seeing it in my bar! Help?

Does tapping the J key reveal the tool? If not try clicking on the three dots at the bottom of the toolbar to show the tool list.
