I made a color book to save onto my Illustrator with three color groups, one for each of my companies main supplier's standard colors. For some reason only one of the color group names were saved. And now I cannot add names back or edit these in any way? Is the only solution to remake the color groups with names, re-export the color book, then replace it in the system files? That is an incredibly complicated way to NAME something

It is a normal .ai file, so you should be able to open the file in Illustrator and edit the swatches.

To find where the file is saved, go to your Swatches panel and choose: Save Swatches as a Library.

You don't need to save them, just note the place where Illustrator wants to save your swatches and open your library from there.
