Hi, there I have looked through for solutions to my problem, if by some chance this topic has been covered and I have missed this please feel free to move this post.

I am working on a logo for a client in Adobe Illustrator, and the two colours featured are #707070 and #CCCCCC. Strangely the values seem to differ mainly the CMYK values, upon looking up #707070 on google the CMYK values are 0, 0, 0, 56 and for #CCC 0, 0, 0, 20.

But in within Illustrator (and Photoshop), the values differ and when I try and manually correct this it gives me a different hex code.

I wondered if this is normal? I am working in Europe General Purpose 3 in my colour settings as I am based in the UK.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
