Is there a way to copy all the objects selected using Global edit? When I use global edit and copy it only copies the main object.

Thank you

Depending on what exactly it is, there might be workarounds.

Most of the time it's text that I outlined or simular objects.

Are there multiple colors involved? Or just one color?

If it's jiust one color, then you could use Global edit to apply an individual color to the objects. You can then use Select > Same > Fill olor to select the object, move them to the layer or whatever you want to do. Then apply the original color.
