Copy and paste resulting in ungrouping changing colours

Hi I have recently found that when I copy and paste something even in the same document it changes any PMS colour to CMYK and also ungroups it.

also sometimes if I copy text and paste it changes the font of the text

if I try again it works correctly so seems it is a bug i need to fix, I am on the latest illustrator.

any help?

Please check if you have any clipboard enhancing utility interfering.

Try to close all other apps to see if any of them causes the problem.

Hi I uninstalled illustrator and reinstalled it, it has happened to someone I work with last year also but he did not find a solution.
I have no other apps open and it only happens now and then, if I copy and past again it works as normal

Is there anything installed in your system that does something to the clipboard. This need not be something you deliberately launch.

It could also be some antivirus utility.

No nothing at all, it is really confusing how it only does it some times and if I do the same action again it is normal.
I will try get a video.
It has only started since updating to Monterey from big sur.

Anyone got ANY idea whats going on? it is so frustrating having to check what I have copied is actually what is pasting.

new install still gives the same results
