Copy / Paste command not working

I can see that other have had this issue. My copy command either ctrl-c or menu-copy seems to be not working. The typical Ctrl C / Ctrl V doesnt work or works sporatically. I can not duplicate this issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. deleted all pref files. started in safe mode. Updated to latest ver. and have tried all the other fixes I've seen in this forum. After performing these fixes some times it works some tiems it does not. Yes, I have checked my keyboard / keyboard drivers / other running apps. It seems like the issue is with the copy command not paste as I can paste data from other applications into illustrator. Please help

Which version and system is it?

So you have shut down all other apps and still it does not work?

Do you have anything that enhances the clipboard? Some system setting, extension, whatever?

What exactly are you copying? Text, simple boxes, something else?

Can you try and turn off the SVG option from Preferences > File handling & clipboard?

Yes I have tried shutting down all other apps, restarting, running in safe mode etc.

No I do not have any plug ins that could be compramising the C/P cmmand. I am using a Logitech MX Master mouse and Keyboard with Logi options.

I have tried copying and pasting objects / art / raster images / text etc.

Tried the SVG fix, does not do anything

The problem is not consistant so Im leaning tward a prefs issue. However I have uninstalled Illustrator and deleted all preference files I know of  (c: - apps - User - roaming - adobe etc.) and I still have the intermittant error.
