Crash when trying to edit artboards

After the last Update it is impossible to edit the artboards.
When I try, Illustrator freezes and after a while the program crashes.
I'm unable to make dokuments with different artboardsizes or edit existing dokuments.

Working is not possible this way :(((

Have you tried resetting your preferences using Preferences/General and clicking the button?

If so, what are you specs? OS version, AI version, Graphics Cards, RAM, etc.

Deleted preferences and set everything up again. problem remains. It worked before the last update. Apart from that, all self-created page templates were gone after the last update. Something like that is absolutely counterproductive and always costs time that I can't charge a customer for.
Graphiccard: AMD Radeon Pro 580, 8GB

iOS 12.2.1, 64 GB RAM

Try turning off your GPU in Preferences/Performance.

If it resolves, that points to an issue with the graphics card or compatibility.

this was the first i've tryed. 

Illustrator crashed with and without this option.

 

and before the last update there where no problem with the same hardware.

You should be able to roll back to the previous build using the CC Desktop app for now so you can get back up and running.

Other options are to uninstall and remove preferences and reinstall, but that is not a guarantee.
