Crashes in Illustrator for documents with old paths

Now please do something !! Or provides an executable older version. I have to move forward. It is now clear that a lot of crap happened with the last Illustrator version. I couldn't believe it either. Until I scoured the forums. I am installing my system for the 2nd time. As soon as I load drawings with outdated paths, the system is gone. How can I edit the paths and fonts of a document with my CC version in advance.

Are you abel to copy all, adn paste in a new document. 

How oald are these files, what version are you go form and to? Did they come off a server which might have put compression on the file?
