Creating a vector 3d room and objects?

I am a doctor trying to produce a video to consent women for epidurals on labour ward. I want to make it look 3D with the camera moving around an object (pregnant women from the front moving around her to see her from the side and then from behind).

I would like to know if this is possible using illustrations made in illustrator? I will need to make a 3d room, characters, and other elements such as beds, trolleys etc.

I can use illustrator fairly well but have not used AE yet. I welcome ANY advice on how I can make this project happen and how I should prepare images in illustrator.
