Crossposting to Illustrator: libraries not showing previews

Earlier, I posted in the CC Libraries four,m and it was suggested I post here:

(After I posted this, I noticed that my Photoshop library items showed up when added. It seems to be AI that has the issue. I haven't tried any other Adobe apps.)

When I create a new library and place a PNG in it, I notice that it shows as the CC logo instead of a preview of the item.  I tried creating a different library, but the same thing happened,  and when I placed the new item in an older library, the same thing happened. Complex items (layers, etc.) are also shown in the CC logo.

I have searched this forum and tried the suggested solutions to enable previews of my library items but to no avail. This is an ongoing issue, as there are multiple posts with the same issue going back to 2022 (maybe further).

The first I noticed this was yesterday. I haven't added items to my library in a couple of days, but it was working previously.

I ran the cleaner, stopped all processes with the Task Manager, restarted, signed out and in, and reset the CC library.

I am running:

Windows 11 Home, Version 23H2, 32 GB RAM, 64-bit operating system x64-based processor.

Creative Cloud apps - all kept up to date

Adobe Illustrator 29.2.1 (64 bit)

I am working on a PC from home with no network. Bitdefender - the firewall allows the Adobe processes.

That isn't what I want however. I want the files to retain their editability as layers.
