Custom guides extremely slowing down performance

Custom guides make Illustrator unusable when viewed as dots. I've made guides out of 70 lines (forming an iso grid). This works fine as long as I am viewing the guides as lines, but when changing the view to Dots in settings, Illustrator get so slow that I can't even move around in the document. I am using macOs Ventura on a 2021 MBP 14. My question is are the dot styled guides SO performance demanding they render my brand new 2000$ machine almost useless? Or is is just a bug on account of Adobe? Please help me out, I am beyond frustrated

Hi, it depends on computer performance for sure if it is the heavier computer will slow down otherwise try the 2020 version if you are on the latest if that works fine to wait for a stable version...regards
