Data set from variables not exporting to PDF

My data Set will no export to PDF via the actions: I created the actions, then went to batch, chose the correct set, action is create PDF, source is data sets - underneath that is says no options available, destination - none, file chosen, override action "save" commands ticked, unticked override action "export" commands. errors: stop for errors, file name is just the first option File + Number, but nothing saves into the designanted file.
