Display color issue

New Here ,
Dec 07, 2024 Dec 07, 2024

I have been trying to edit some photos/illustrations/videos and the colors are pretty different than actual one. The display color is dull, washed and some times "faded" or too low in intensity. But when I export, it shows the real color.

Working in two screens, not a monitor color issue. Tried both, no difference. Working with RGB color profile, drivers up-to-date. Windows up-to-date & AI as well.

I'm not sure how long this have been happening to me, but it's truly annoying. Any solution? I am using a Windows PC.

Intel I9 13900k
64 GB RAM
NVidia RTX 4070 TI

I attached the difference how it looks in Illustrator vs how it looks after export. This is not happening just in Illustrator.

Please share a couple of .ai files and their corresponding exported versions (whatever export format you actually mean).

Also, include infos about your export settings. And everything else that may clarify your issue (for example, are you using Proof Colours in the View menu and, if so, what is set in the Proof Setup?).

I exported for screens. PNG, good quality. Nothing crazy. I just reinstalled the OS and Creative Cloud. I still have the same issue.

UPDATE: I tired to share the .ai files but the system took them off.

I was seeing on the view menu that you mentioned and I found out the colors were in CMYK, changing them to RGB shows the color desired but after some changes it goes back to the same issue.
