Document contains incompatible objects

New Here ,

My illustrator won't open a cloud file and I can't download it. The message comes up saying this cloud document contains objects that are not compatible with the current illustrator version.
Does anyone know how to access this type of document ?

fajar,

Normally, such an issue would be caused by a newer version than yours.

Is yours the latest?

Is the cloud file created by you?

Trying to open your attachment gives this message "Error displaying attachment content"

Can you post a screenshot that is directly visible?

Unknown to most, it is quite easy to directly show images in posts, hence the following general suggestion:

Please show images by using the Insert Photos button (looks like moon over mountains) for each at the top of the reply box which makes everything appear right there in your post together with your text, rather than he more conspicuous Drag&drop attachment which requires helpers to open a new tab for each image and wait for its showing, then go back and forth; and if they just click it and wait for its showing and press the X to get back to the text, the image is gone, so if they need another look they have to open it again and wait to see it again.

Hi @fajar_5341,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear that you are running into this. Adding to the expert suggestion, could you please try signing out of the Creative Cloud Desktop App and then signing back in, then test opening the cloud file again? Sometimes this refreshes sync credentials and resolves access issues.

Also, please check if the file appears in https://adobe.ly/3LA5diP when you're signed in there. If you can see the file in that web view, try opening it directly from that page and let me know if that works.

Moreover, please confirm the exact Illustrator desktop version you have installed on your machine. You can check this in the Creative Cloud Desktop App by going to All apps and looking at the version shown for Illustrator.

Also, please try the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this article and update the status after testing them:

Looking forward to your update.

Abhishek
